More than 700,000 visitors a year are enchanted in one of the GOP Varieté theatres in Hanover, Essen, Bad Oeynhausen, Münster and Munich. The sixth theatre opened in Bremen in September 2013. International artists and entertainers who have the talent to reinterpret the art of variety between tradition and innovation will provide unforgettable moments.

11 to 14 June 2026

Once a year, the international LA STRADA street circus festival turns the squares around Roland, the Town Hall and the Stadtmusikanten statue into a gigantic circus arena. Proponents of the street performing arts converge on Bremen and tell their wild tales, delight the public with their fantastical ideas and entrance us with their poetry.

1 to 5 July 2026, Weserwiesen am Osterdeich

The red and white-striped marquees along the banks of the River Weser can be seen from afar and the sound of live music is wafting through the air to greet listeners. Stallholders offer their wares in between jugglers and theatre troupes. 

16 October to 1 November 2026

The inhabitants of Bremen call their Freimarkt, which is held in the last two weeks of October every year, the "fifth season". The biggest popular festival in the northern part of Germany is held between the main railway station and the Bremen Trade Fair area, just round the corner from the hotel: colourful carousels, eatery stalls with hearty fare as well as sweet titbits, beer tents and much more herald fun filled evenings in a convivial atmosphere.
